MESSAGE:-  

Pruthvi Guptha (President-Engineer's Without Borders M.J.C.E.T. CHAPTER 2013-2014)

 

It is indeed a great honour & privilege to address such a dignified audience as the president of EWB-M.J.C.E.T. Chapter. In my two years of association with EWB family, what i have always cherished is the valuable exposure and experience gathered. By being the "Public Relations Officer " during the year 2012-2013 , it has given me immense confidence and ability to lead this movement of young professionals. It is a remarkable milestone in my life. I am humbled & honoured to have the oppurtunity to serve this dynamic community as your 'President'.

I have been involved in a lot of projects in these 2 & 1/2 years. I remember the 1st project i chaired during the EWB-week to my last project in Primary school . A lot has changed over the years. Despite how many members we have & how we manage our funds, it is not strong enough to fall behind. Now, it is high time we challenge this situation & push the envelope as  a movement , as youth & above all as united EWBian's.

As your President, I will create awareness among public about the activities carries out by our club. We as EWBian's create yeomen service to our community; yet; there is a very little awareness created. But by doing so , the public will foresee EWB as a meaningful organization & on the other hand members too will be respected.

Another area of my focus will be on our strongest areas : community service.                                    There are many glowing examples in which  we have showcased the humanitarian service rendered by us.

I would fail in my duty if i do not mention the individuals tho helped me this far & ensured that i stand in front of you as your President. First of all , I must thank my loving parents for making me who I am. Then it is my duty to thank my college for molding me as a complete individual. Let me extend my heart felt gratitude to our faculty advisers " Ishrat maam & "Lakshmi maam" for all their guidance and support over the years. I would fail in my duty if i do not mention "Ansari Sir , Ashok Agarwal Sir , P.N.Rao Sir , Shaukat Ali Sir " for their words of their words of wisdom when ever needed. Let me also mention our past president "Tarun" whom i have worked under for his everlasting support.

I would try my best to make EWB a valuable platform for ideas and experience to be shared by all EWBian's. It is a pledge that I am going to live by and i would like all the EWBian's  to be a part of it.

Viva La EWBians !!!
